Use of cookies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by the site you are visiting. This page explains which ones we use and why, so that you know exactly what is stored during your visit.

This site runs on a deliberately small number of cookies. We use no advertising cookies, no commercial trackers and no profiling tools for targeting purposes.

One session cookie is required for the site to work: it maintains your session, protects forms against request forgery, and remembers the language you selected. It expires when you close your browser or after a period of inactivity.

Your display preference — light or dark theme — is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to our servers. Clearing the site data is enough to reset it.

We record aggregated audience measurements: pages viewed, display language and timestamp. These are attached to a temporary session identifier, never to your identity, and serve only to understand which pages are useful.

You can configure your browser to refuse some or all cookies. The site remains readable, but refusing the session cookie prevents the contact form from being submitted, as it depends on that cookie for security reasons.

No third-party cookie is placed for tracking purposes. Typefaces are loaded from an external service for performance reasons; that service receives your IP address but sets no tracking cookie.
