The group
Group Ogou grew out of a family construction business in Abidjan. What began with roads and warehouses became a set of companies that build, process and move goods.
The group holds together because its trades complement one another. What construction puts up, agribusiness operates; what agribusiness produces, logistics moves. That continuity lets us commit to complete chains rather than isolated links.
We remain a family business, run from Abidjan by the people who built it. That imposes a simple discipline: we accept only the commitments we know we can meet, and we answer personally for the ones we make.

Roads and structures built to outlast the contract.
The founding company of the group. Roadworks, civil engineering and turnkey buildings for public authorities, industrial clients and private developers across Côte d’Ivoire and the Gulf of Guinea.
From the fields of the Bandama to the packed pallet.
Cashew, soybean, sesame and maize bought from a contracted network of smallholders, then cleaned, processed and packed at Bouaké for export and for the regional market.
The corridor from the Port of Abidjan to the Sahel.
Freight forwarding, customs clearance, bonded warehousing and road haulage on the corridors linking the Port of Abidjan to Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
How we work
One way of working that holds across all three companies, from the first conversation through to the warranty period.
We visit, we measure, we ask. A quotation drawn up without seeing the ground is a source of dispute, not a commitment.
Every project has a single named contact, reachable, answerable for the work end to end. You never have to explain yourself twice.
Progress, spend, variances: a formal review on a fixed schedule. Bad news passed on early stays a manageable problem.
Completion is not the end of the relationship. We maintain what we build and we come back when we are needed.
Our story
The steps that took a family construction business to a set of three companies.
2009
Konan Ekra and two partners take over an earthworks business with eleven employees and four machines. The first contract is a nine-kilometre rural track in the Agnéby region. The company takes the name Ogou, the smith of the coastal traditions — the one who works iron.
2012
A 46-kilometre national road rehabilitation, handed over two weeks before the rains, moves the company into the first tier of public works contractors.
2014
A soybean cleaning and grading line is installed at Bouaké, with 400 farmers under contract for the first season.
2017
The construction quality system is certified. The same year, the first container of processed cashew leaves the Port of Abidjan for Rotterdam.
2018
Created to move the group’s own materials, the company obtains its customs brokerage licence and its first bonded warehouse at the Port of Abidjan.
2022
Two processing halls are added, the farmer network passes 6,000 holdings, and the group employs its thousandth member of staff.
2026
The holding company is formed. Finance, legal and quality functions are pooled, and a single governance framework is adopted across the three divisions.
