Overview
Ogou Logistics & Trade was created in 2018 to move the group’s own cargo; within two years it was carrying more freight for third parties than for its sister companies. It works the corridors that begin at the Port of Abidjan and run north to Ouagadougou, Bamako and Niamey — the supply line for three landlocked markets.
The company holds a licensed customs brokerage, 24,000 square metres of warehousing — 4,000 of them bonded and 1,200 temperature controlled — and a fleet of 96 tractor units and trailers under satellite tracking. Transit on the Abidjan–Ouagadougou leg averages 38 hours, and every consignment stays visible to the client at each corridor checkpoint.
A trading arm sources construction materials, agricultural inputs and industrial spare parts for the group’s other divisions and for outside clients, consolidating volumes to obtain terms a single buyer could not.
The corridor rewards reliability rather than price. On-time delivery is published to clients every month; it has not fallen below 94 per cent since 2022.
