Overview
Ogou Construction & Infrastructure is the founding company of the group and remains its largest employer. From its plant yard on the Dabou road, west of Abidjan, it delivers roadworks, drainage and earthworks, reinforced concrete structures and turnkey buildings.
The company owns its machines rather than renting them: one hundred and forty units — graders, pavers, crushing plants, tipper trucks — maintained in house by a workshop of thirty mechanics. That is what keeps a site in Korhogo or Odienné working when a part fails six hundred kilometres from the port.
Work is organised in four lines: roads and civil structures, buildings, water and drainage, and multi-year maintenance contracts. Roughly two thirds of turnover comes from public procurement; the balance from industrial and commercial clients who need a contractor able to hold a programme through the rainy season.
The quality system has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2017. Every site runs a documented safety plan, with a full-time coordinator once the workforce passes fifty.
